The City of Berkeley is probably most recognized for being home to the world class University of California Berkeley. Go Bears!

Peets Coffee was founded here in 1966 by a Dutchman named Alfred Peet. I remember visiting the first store with my mom, at Walnut and Vine Streets, in North Berkeley when I was a kid.
